To find the sale price: multiply the original price by (1 โ discount%). For a 25% off $100 item: $100 ร 0.75 = $75. To find the discount amount: multiply the original price by the discount percentage. This calculator also adds sales tax to show your true final cost.
When two discounts apply (e.g., 20% off + extra 10% off), they don't simply add up to 30% off. A 20% discount followed by a 10% discount equals 28% total savings. The order generally doesn't matter โ the math works out the same either way.
